THE PHILOSOPHY

Syntax changes.
Thinking stays.

Develop abstraction, algorithms, data structures and the ability to break hard problems into solvable parts—not just memorised commands.

“Computer science is not about computers. It’s about thinking.”

— David J. Malan

TYPICAL CRASH COURSE

CHOOSE YOUR PATHWAY

One destination.
Two starting points.

1 / 2
01
FUTURE MAKERS · CLASS 7–9

Start visually. Progress deeply.

Build computational confidence from Scratch to Python, CS50x and Web or AI.

Scratch → Python → CS50x → Web / AI

02
PRESENT MAKERS · AGE 16+

Go deeper than tutorials.

Build the fundamentals, portfolio and computational confidence to stand apart in university and technology careers.

Python → CS50x → Web / AI

COURSE SEQUENCE

From first block

THE LEARNING SYSTEM

A system built for serious progress.

Access to content is not the same as completing it. Every phase turns ideas into accountable work through a repeatable learning cycle.

01

Learn

Study core concepts through official course material and mentor explanation.

02

Practise

Work through focused examples until the mental model becomes clear.

03

Solve

Attempt demanding problem sets independently and document questions.

04

Build

Turn multiple concepts into useful, testable portfolio projects.

05

Present

Explain decisions, trade-offs, failures and improvements.

ADMISSIONS 2026

Potential first.
Experience later.

No prior coding is required. The aptitude test evaluates logic, patterns, problem-solving and foundational computer awareness.

INDEPENDENT GLOBAL LEARNING

Preparation beyond a single course.

Selected supplementary learning routes can broaden a learner’s exposure when they fit the active phase and provider requirements.

PROVIDER-CONTROLLED CREDENTIALS

Guidance is included.
Issuance must be earned.

NASA Open Science, NPTEL, Cisco, IBM, AWS, Helsinki, Leeds, Kaggle, Hugging Face and other references identify independent learning targets only.

Availability, eligibility, assessment, certificates and optional external examination fees remain controlled by each provider.

OUR MISSION

Build Nepal’s next generation of computational thinkers.

CS Prep Nepal provides local structure, mentorship and accountability around demanding public curricula. The goal is to help learners develop reasoning, working projects and evidence they can explain—not merely collect course-completion claims.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN

Important questions.
Clear answers.

Confirm the pathway, workload and independent-provider position before applying.

Is prior coding required?

No. Beginners enter through the appropriate foundation and aptitude is evaluated without requiring memorised syntax.

Is CS Prep Nepal part of Harvard University?

No. CS Prep Nepal is an independent training provider guiding learners through publicly available CS50 curriculum.

How are classes delivered?

The current model uses two two-hour online sessions and one three-hour weekend offline project lab each week.

Can a learner choose both Web and AI?

Yes, after the required foundations. Specialisations are completed sequentially so each receives sufficient focus.

Are external certificates guaranteed?

No. External providers control availability, eligibility, assessment and certificate issuance.

START WITH POTENTIAL

Your future starts with one hard problem.

Register for the aptitude test or speak with the team if you are unsure which pathway fits.

BEGIN YOUR APPLICATION

Choose the right starting point.

The registration form asks for basic learner details, preferred pathway and an optional school or college name.
